Procter & Gamble awarded the Employer Partner certificate for the sixth time

At Procter & Gamble, employee satisfaction is one of the basic preconditions for the company’s growth, which is why an employee satisfaction survey is conducted every year, after which the results are analysed and action plans are created to further work on increasing employee engagement and satisfaction. For the sixth time in a row, P&G’s excellence in human resources management is confirmed by the Employer Partner certificate.

The focus on employee satisfaction and development was also shown by P&G during the coronavirus crisis when all employees were allowed to work from home, and P&G additionally focused, among other things, on online education and workshops related to coping with stress and the specifics of working from home for employees who are parents. The benefits that the company normally offers to employees were also adjusted to the new circumstances.

As one of the benefits, the employees point out the joint breakfast that is held once a month, in order to inform the employees about the news from the past period, but also to additionally encourage and remind them of the importance of two-way communication.

In the process of evaluating its HR processes for this recognition, P&G has achieved very high results for its employee performance management processes, as well as for the efforts they invest in employee education and training. Thus, for example, all P&G employees have their own individual development plans, all managers are directly involved in the development of their employees, and in the past year, all employees participated in at least one optional training, and all employees have 12 platforms continuously available for online learning.

P&G, despite achieving excellent results when it comes to the development processes of its employees for years, is constantly working to further improve these processes, so last year they developed a development program for new people managers, which includes a fully digitized onboarding program, which makes it easier for new managers to adapt to the new role and enables them to become fully acquainted with their new work tasks in a structured and high-quality way.

These results are a combination of global processes and quality adaptation to Croatian conditions and organizational culture, which we all carefully nurture. But we are not going to stop here – there’s still room where we can be even better. After all, that’s the company’s philosophy – we always want to make progress.”, noted Lana Zanne Latos, Managing Director for Croatia and Slovenia.

In addition to our standard projects that we are developing year after year, listening carefully to employee feedback, we would single out a program for new people managers that has received excellent feedback. All executives highlighted the quality of education that empowered them to take on the most important role; leadership and development of people, while additional confirmation of quality came through the great interest of other P&G offices that have implemented the program into their mandatory processes.
