Did you know that: ... Beginnings of studying the organizations were found among the Egyptians and Babylonians, who had to have certain knowledge about the organization, accumulated throughout generations to build monumental acts such as pyramids, temples, etc. It is assumed that the ancient Egyptians recorded their experiences of building such large buildings that have been built for long time (Cheops pyramid was built by 100,000 people over 200 years). First written traces of these projects are located in Hammurabi’s code where certain outlines of social organization are provided.
