Human Resource Management Arena 2008.

Human resource management has made substantial progress over the last ten years. The early 20th century was marked by the predominance of technology and lack of interest in the needs of employees. The early 21st century has definitely shown that productivity and competitiveness, as well as globalisation and changes cannot be successively achieved without a clear and comprehensive understanding of human resources. An individual is no longer seen as a marginal organisational resource,  but as an important source of new value.

The purpose of the 7th Human Resource Management Arena is to gather in one place experts and current knowledge, news and ideas on HR management, provide insight into developments in the Croatian and regional community of  HR professionals and provide an opportunity for an exchange of views among colleagues.

In addition to the practical contents (speeches) and acquisition of new information, another goal of the conference is that participants renew existing acquaintances and form new ones through formal and informal contacts.
